2014-15 Expenditure Goals

1. Wes-Del Community Schools will strive to increase the percentage for student instructional expenditure categories as compared to the other expenditure categories as described in IC 21-10-3-4 for the next fiscal year.

2. Wes-Del Community Schools will strive to maintain our existing instructional programs and remediation programs for the next fiscal year.

Unique Circumstances

Increases in the student instructional expenditure categories and maintaining our existing instructional and remediation programs may not be possible due to the following unique circumstances:

1. Enrollment in the school corporation resulting in the reduction of state and local revenues.

2. Retirement of veteran teaching staff and being replaced by teachers at a lower salary level.

3. Increased fuel costs in the transportation fund.

4. Need to continue repair and renovation of the middle/high school.

5. Increased health insurance costs.

6. Limited state funding for education.

7. Increased utility costs.
