Wes-Del Community Schools

Wes-Del Elementary has leaped to the front in academic achievement in Delaware County and the state of Indiana. Over the last two years, no other elementary school within Delaware County has witnessed the growth in mathematics that has occurred at Wes-Del Elementary. This can be attributed to a laser-focused effort by the teachers and administration, as well as, a continued effort to align curricular goals. These continuous efforts on curricular alignment have produced spectacular results in other subject areas. For example, Wes-Del third graders achieved a ninety-two percent(92%) pass rate on the IREAD-3 state assessment in 2023. The IREAD-3 success, combined with third-grade ILEARN math scores in the upper 7% of the state has Wes-Del Elementary strongly seated within the top twenty percent(20%) of elementary schools in the state of Indiana.  Wes-Del Elementary is proving that a small school can produce big opportunities and big results.
